LASER-ETCHED CUTTING BORDS
Looking for a holiday gift idea? Want to make it yourself? Want to use lasers and learn woodworking while your at it? That's what we thought. Make your own hardwood cuttingboard that you can custome engrave with a design or message of your own. During this two day workshop you will learn:
- safe hand and power tool operation including the planer and miter saw
- proper glue-up techniques
- the basics of hand rubbed oil finishes
- the basics of using a vector line drawing programs to create a personalized designs
- how to use a laser cutter/engraver to customize your cutting board
All natural wood finishes only to ensure a hypoallergenic, food-safe surface that will last. Cutting boards will be approximately 16" x 8" x 1 1/4"
YOU ONLY NEED TO BUY A TICKET FOR THE FIRST DAY. THE COST OF THE SECOND DAY IS INCLUDED.
