This hands-on workshop will walk you though the steps of hot process soap making, all while teaching you the underlying chemical reactions and principles that are occurring each step of the way! In this three hour workshop, participants will produce a half-pound of customized scented, vegan soap that will be ready to be taken home and used within days.
This class will explain chemical concepts such a reactions, acids and bases, organic chemistry, and bio chemistry. No scientific background is needed, only an enthusiasm for learning and eagerness to put on a lab coat!
