ABOUT ABOUT

WHEN BAD TASTES GOOD: GINGER BEER 3 WAYS

Attention ginger fans: you don’t need a machine or any special equipment to make your own, lightly bubbly ginger beer!  You need only the power of fermentation.

Wednesday MARCH 19 FROM 6:00PM-8:00PM, We’ll discuss and play with a few different ginger beer brewing methods, including using a culture that grows, a culture you make and a culture you buy.  Everyone will leave with ginger beer to finish at home as well as one of the three starters we'll discuss in class.

Facilitator Bio: Amanda Feifer loves bacteria, hates anti-bacterial soap and thinks fermentation is empowerment. She writes about her passion for cultivating microbes in food at Phickle.com.
