CUTTING THINGS WITH LASERS

Because we live in the future we get to cut things with lasers and so can you. In this two hour class we'll show you the basic operations and safety of the lasercutter and basic operations of Adobe Illustrator, the program that runs the laser cutter. By the end of the class you'll not only have the knowledge to run the laser cutter on your own but you'll walk away with an engraved medallion of your likeness.
No experience necessary. Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Free parking is available on the day of the event in the Science Center parking lot located in the back of 3711 off of Filbert St. Drive in, take a ticket and park. When you get to DM+D ask us about chaser tickets that can be used to exit free of charge. Plenty of street parking too.
